Telugu Cultural Association (TCA) has been striving to bring the Telugu community together, promote the language and preserve the culture for the past 4 decades. TCA has provided a platform for artists, scholars, poets and literary experts to showcase their talents and encouraged them by acknowledging and appreciating their knowledge and skills.
Telugu Badi and Swaramadhuri are undertakings of TCA that work to impart our language and music to children. TCA wants to go one step further and open its doors to every child with an innovative program. It aims to erase the barriers of language and open its doors for every child in Houston, thus providing an opportunity for everyone, to know about TCA, its mission and activities and also giving a sneak peek into one of the oldest cultures and traditions on this planet.
TCA4Kidz is conceptualized to bring all children together, irrespective of the language they speak, the color of their skin or their origins. It aims at hosting interesting and innovative camps, workshops and competition for children across Houston. Children can ignite their imagination, give wings to their ideas and create the impossible.
Legos is a universal language understood by all the children globally. As a first step, TCA is collaborated with bricks4kidz Cypress who have tremendous experience in conducting various programs and activities for children based on Lego-robotics, STEM with an imaginative, multi-sensory, fun and dynamic learning experience.
