Every year, Telugu Cultural Association (TCA) of Houston invites applications for 3 of its Annual Merit Scholarships of $500 each. In Addition to Merit Based Scholarships, In 2018 TCA Executive committee introduced need-based scholarships to provide assistance for students who are in need of financial aid. These scholarships are for current high school seniors who plan to attend college in fall.

Executive committee forms an independent Scholarship committee to review and process the submitted applications and identify the students who are eligible for these merit-based and need-based scholarships.

Merit based – Every year

• Houston 7th TANA conference two scholarships $500 each
• Houston 4th ATA conference scholarship $500

Need based since 2018

• Sita and (late) Bhaskara Rao Mutyala scholarship $500
• Mallikarjuna Rao Chalasani, Chandrasekhara Rao Tammareddy, Mangaraju Mutyala scholarship $500
• (Late) Sri Yalamanchili Veerabhadra Rao Scholarship $500
• TCA Executives scholarship $500
